We are looking for a colleague with technical and IT skills for building automation, building management, networking and system integration tasks. The role spans configuring and programming automation systems and connecting electrical, mechanical and IT systems.
The role extends beyond software development. We are looking for someone who understands, or wants to understand, physical systems as well, thinks logically and can follow a technical problem from field devices through to software control.
Your responsibilities
- Configuring and programming building automation systems
- Working with Loxone and other automation systems
- Building management and system integration tasks
- Configuring IP networks and communication systems
- Integrating electrical and mechanical systems with automation
- Troubleshooting, testing and documentation
Requirements
- An IT, electrical engineering, automation or other relevant technical background
- Confident basic computer and networking skills
- Logical, systems-based thinking
- Independent problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of English, particularly for technical documentation
- Willingness to learn and interest in new technologies
An advantage
Knowledge of Loxone, PLCs, Modbus, KNX, TCP/IP networks, APIs or a programming language, or experience with electrical or mechanical building systems.
